How do I keep my pool safe for kids.
Excellent question!
Vigilance is the best practice, but these tips will go a long way; especially where children are involved:
- Always have an adult nearby.
- Set a good example so kids know how to behave.
- EVERYONE must follow the rules.
- No running!
- Put toys away. People might trip over them.
- Wear sunscreen.
How often should I have my pool serviced?
This depends largely on the size, location, greenery and frequency of use.
Our short answer is “Weekly”.
Why do I need to have the pH level of my pool water tested?
Keep in mind that nothing stays fresh forever. Water will attract bugs and dust and other pollutants. Even if you are not using your pool, rainwater and the sun will affect the chemistry of your pool through phenomenon like evaporation. All of this will affect the pool chemistry which is calibrated for your own safety.
During the wet season is rain water good for my pool?
Great question!
Lots of rain can have a serious impact on your pool. Rainwater is more than a free top-up, along with it comes to dust, pollen and other pollutants; it can also throw your pool chemistry off balance through dilution and chemical loss. Maintain regular pool servicing and have the pH level checked regularly, this way you can get any chemical imbalances corrected.
